Avengers: The 2nd Villain, Thanos?

Look, before you start bombarding me with all sorts of names simply because of all the post related to Avengers, lemme set it straight.

I don't give a damn.

Why? Cuz I'm a big fan of Marvel comics. No no, not those who said they love Marvel simply because of The Avengers, heck do they even know who's the founding member of The Avengers? I quote my friend there, Lavan. Screw you big time if you say you know it all simply because of all the mainstream heroes.

Anyway, back to where I wanted to go. It is known that there will be a 2nd villain co-operating with Loki to destroy Midgard. Ok, Earth. But the question is, who?

Who made that deal with Loki, and are those 'creatures' we see in the trailer related to the 2nd villain? Aliens or some sort of ancient creature in the Marvel Universe? It is also known that the Skrull nor the Kree will be making the appearance on the big screen this time around. No no to Skrull-Kree war on Earth!

I shall quote Kevin Fiege now,

"Who said they were aliens?" he teases. Beings from the Nine Realms, then, ventures Empire? "Closer...It's not Skrulls, I've been clear about that. Beyond that, we want to hide it. The identity of the alien race is not impactful. It exists in the comic books, but we're not setting up the Kree-Skrull war or anything like that."

See. No aliens? WTH? Then who? Screw the army cause we have a Hulk. Now, who's the second villain? I was placing the bet on Red Skull, but... Kevin Fiege told me this.

"Was Skull vaporised at the end of the movie, or thrust into another realm?" asks Feige. "That remains to be seen. It would be fun to see Skull in future, but he's not in this one." (Joss) Whedon though is a little more circumspect when Empire confronts him. "I do have a comment on that," he says, before pulling a move worthy of Loki himself. "It's...oh, you're breaking up!"

Not Red Skull. Confirmed. Affirmative. So who?

Based on the trailer, and also from previous installments of this whole Marvel Avengers movie franchise, I will place my bet on Thanos and also an appearance by Fin Fang Foom.

that's Thanos you mudabitches.

Why Thanos? Good question. He's bad ass and he was born on a Moon in Saturn. Thanos too have this obsession with unlimited powaaaaaaaah and that's where the cosmic cube will bring you. Red Skull. NO! Also, Thanos is so bad ass that they did an awesome replica of his Infinity Gauntlet and it was displayed during the ComicCon.

See if you don't want potential spoilers, you better stop reading. I'm just saying, potential. I could get it all wrong though. Let's simplify it.

Loki tricked Thanos into believing that what Thanos wanted, the Infinity gems, are located on Earth. And so, Thanos sent The Redacted, or simply, a Skrull renamed due to licensing issues to hunt down the gems. Not only that, Thanos gave his alien serpent, the Leviathan to help Loki out. You know that big ass TF Shockwave lookalike thingy towards the end of the trailer? Yea, that one.

That I can conclude after reading various review site, and yes I did my research as well. I noticed the serpent, has a slight similarity with Fin Fang Foom. The one that appeared on issue "Iron Man Viva Las Vegas". The armored and much modernized Foom. Not the classic one from China. Fin Fang Foom too is an extraterrestrial creature.

Notice the similarities?

Anyway, it doesn't really matter what I say. What matters most is I really do hope to see Thanos on the big screen. Even if not in this one, please put him in Avengers 2. By then, please show us Adam Warlock!

On a side note, I managed to grab this bunch of not-so-articulated figures home today! No wrist articulations, no ankle articulation, the not accurate head of capt and the list goes on!
