penne al cioccolato

As some of you might already know, I do cook and kinda like it. I know I don't look like someone who cooks a lot, but hey don't judge a book by its cover. I'm into Italian cuisines, so if any of you have any interesting recipes, remember to share them with me! I'm gonna share with you guys a special pasta recipe. You might find it weird but trust me, it's a really cool pasta to cook. Here we go,

penne al cioccolato

anchovies, pepper flakes, garlic


olive oil






hershey's 100% pure cocoa


Step 1, cook the penne pasta till al dente according to the instructions on the packaging. Set aside to cool.

Step 2, roughly chop the anchovies into smaller pieces so they can 'melt' easier and faster .

Step 3, roughly chop the chocolate bar into hug chunks for some obvious reason.

Step 4, heat olive oil in a non stick frying pan. Saute garlic and the pepper flakes, and put in the anchovies in once the garlic starts to brown. Keep stirring till the anchovies 'melt' with the oil.

Step 5, put the chocolate chunks in to the frying pan. Constantly stir it with a spatula to prevent it from getting burnt.

Step 5.5 6, scoop in 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs in the oil mixture. Keep stiring till you get a consistent and thick chocolate sauce.

  1. You must get chocolate bars which contains at least 70% cocoa. Not the usual ones because they're mainly made of sugar and milk.
  2. Try to get anchovies in olive oil instead of brine. Trust me.
  3. Cook with passion, you don't need specific measurements of the ingredients. =)
